Yarmony Music Festival, Copper Mountain, Colorado*****
***************~~~
Blind Melon at Summer Camp 2008 - near the end of this video:~~~Music is important to me, so I'm choosing this for you: Walker ... Sharon Gilchrist; Seven Story Mountain...Railroad Earth; One Reason ...Tea Leaf Green; Amanda Lynn...Hot Buttered Rum String Band; This House... Drew Emmitt; She's Mine...Brett Dennan; Cacoon... Jack Johnson;~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When I was young I saw myself growing old and sitting in a rocking chair on the front porch with my life's partner, looking out over the forest and meadows. Watching the great-grandchildren frolic in the yard. I remember distinctly hearing the birds and small animals, squirrels and the like, scampering about.~~~ Now that I'm old enough to sit I'd rather be in my running shoes and feel the music in my soul, my heart and my bones.**********~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~
potlucks, dinner parties, playing with babies and kids of all ages, knitting scarves, dreaming vividly, watching the moon grow, lighting fires, thrift stores, sparkly wandering jews, fireflies, soft and furry clothing, eyes, singing along to the song in the air, hugging everyone, looking out the window first thing in the morning, sunshine after lots of rain, raw foods, going places I've never been before, getting high without substances, jumping up and down at shows, organizing stuff, people, my children
I'd like to meet:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The 14th Dalai Lama*****
Anyone waiting in line at the porta potty backstage.......
People who have morals and relate to the world with those ethics.~~
People who simply cannot live without music.~~~~~
People who love their children as much as they love themselves and would step between their child and danger.~~
People who know that life is not worth living if there is no love.~~
People who try to live simply so that others may simply live.~~
People who know there is more to this life than meets the eye.~~~

Books:
The Art of Happiness by the 14th Dalai Lama"I always believe that it is much better to have a variety of religions, a variety of philosophies, rather than one single religion or philosophy. This is necessary because of the different mental dispositions of each human being. Each religion has certain unique ideas or techniques, and learning about them can only enrich one's own faith." ..the Dalai Lama’s MySpace
