The Kaivalya Hoop Dancers began in the Fall of 2006 when a group of happy hoopers discovered each other and came together to "urban hoop" in Denver, Colorado. Since then, we have continued to delight in the euphoria and bliss of hoop dancing and have performed throughout the country, at various clubs, venues, concerts, festivals, and special events.
Our name, "Kaivalya", is Sanskrit for isolation and freedom from conditioned existence. When we step into our hoop, we step out of the mundane and into a sacred space of spirit-energy, which we manifest into the manifold. In good spirits, we wish to share these spiraling sensations with others through performance, instruction, hoop making, and a mobious-bliss of enthusiastic exercise: Full cycle, full circle, and through the ouroboros of time...
Hoop dance has shaped our life into a whirling spiral of happiness, creating increased overall health and wellness, and it is our mission to share our passion with others.
Our performers are specialty insured for hoop dance and fire dance. If you are interested in having us spice up your next event, please leave a message in our inbox.

We currently wish to expand our hoop dance fitness classes throughout Colorado, as hoop dancing promotes core strengthening and cardio endurance, while enhancing self-esteem and libido.
