This is Rock n Roll, Spooky Man

About Me

I was born and Raised in Maldon, Essex. I was diagnosed with C.F at 15 months of age. I lived well until my early 20's [apart from a few minor hiccups] when the health problems really started kicking in. I had a Life saving Double Lung Transplant at Harefield Hospital Jan 2nd 1994. I have been enjoying and making the most of life ever since [had the odd minor complication but hey I just take it in my stride]
I have always worked in sports retailing, worked in 2 different independent sports shops in Maldon and a golf club nearby. I made a return to working at The Golf Club shops [The Warren and Bunsay Downs] in March '06.
I love playing golf [about 18 handicap]and I enjoy a regular golfing trip to Ireland with the lads.
Music is a big part of my life and my taste has diversified as I've got older, I love going to live gigs, you can't beat live music, played by a proper band!
I'm very interested in the Paranormal and I have been on a few investigations. I am involved with Essex Paranormal, moderating there forum and running their myspace page.
I love playing Texas Hold 'em Poker but I'm still learning the ropes there.
I'm Big Kid at heart still love cartoons [especially Futurama, all the looney Tunes, and Hanna barbera stuff]I collect the Robert Harrop Camberwick Green figures [lol] and I'm a bit of a joker [you have to have a laugh].
I also have an interest in the Native Americans and their way of life [sadly destroyed]think this is where my interests in Eagles and wolves also kicks in. In fact one of my fave albums of the past year is Marty Stuart's "Badlands" which tells the plight of the Lakota Sioux.
Liverpool FC are my footie team of choice [goes back to Kevin Keegans days]
Essex Cricket Club are the best!
With Judith my partner of 10+ years and very happy.
