About Me

I am intelligent, creative, and have been told on occasion that I'm actually funny (but I may be wrong....). I speak from my heart and soul.
I operate pretty much bi-laterally from both parts of my brain. This is very well illustrated, as my full-time job involves logically-oriented work with computers, systems and databases. However, I consider myself a dreamer - a poet at heart - which utilizes the other part of my brain.
I am a published poet, both in England and in America. I lived in Manchester, UK from 1992 - 2000, and have been to 24 countries. I hope to publish a book of poems in the next six months.
While I was in England, I played in an orchestra - the Manchester Recorder Orchestra! It was a brilliant group - over 60 recorder players, and I was the principle tenor recorder player. I miss this with all my heart, but I still do manage to play solo on my free time. I can play nearly every instrument (I never said 'well'!), but I can get a scale out of any instrument you give me. I started out as a music major in college, but decided to pursue writing, so I switched!
I hope you enjoy visiting my site. For anyone who has taken the time to actually step into a bit of my soul by reading this, the honor is mine. Please come back often, but if this is not for you, move on in light and love.
I wish nothing but the best for everyone - Namaste....

STRENGTHS (YEY!): Great listener, may possess the power to heal broken hearts, highly creative, intuitive and perceptive, can see into people's words, well-traveled and have a high respect for all peoples and cultures, can see outside the box, nurturing, empath, don't let boundaries stop me, can spot a fake person, writer, musician, adapt easily to new situations, open-minded, sexy in many ways, ageless and always fresh.
WEAKNESSES (BOO!): Sometimes act impulsively, take criticism hard, can get overwhelmed, emotional, need to lose a few 'mid-life' pounds, find it easier to write words then to say them - I tend to giggle a lot when I first meet someone I like, and act like an ass, I also over-worry (which is quite worrying, really!)

My Interests

Writing (poetry), Freelance Correspondent, travel (I have been to 24 countries), making music, creative people, beautiful minds.

I love going out to movies and dinner and crap, and having great conversations where I can make people laugh - that's what life's all about. I believe a lot can be conveyed through non-verbal communication, and I love the art of seduction. Conversely, I could sit on your couch with you all night and talk about anything - from philosophy, to politics, to emotions to sex.

I am very intuitive and like self-development/improvement. My Myers-Briggs personality type is INFP, which means Introvert, INtuitive, Feeling and Perceptive. Sometimes, I come out as an ENFP, which basically means Extrovert - I am dead-smack in the middle between the two. My DISC profile is a "High I" (Influencer). What the hell am I am talking about? God knows!

I also love astronomy and am an aurora-watching geek.

Nothing thrills me more than lying on a blanket outside, either watching clouds go by or the wonder of a night sky - someone sharing this experience next to me only enhances it.
I enjoy meeting all types of people, especially creative, funny, romantic souls. If I so move you, please send a 'hello' my way - I look forward to hearing from you - I am 'interested' to see if you are able to rock my world....
This is my fiance and best friend, too!
