Very into AC/DC, old school Metallica, disco, punk (Ramones, Rancid, Green Day, the Offspring); 80s R&B (James Ingram, Jeffrey Osborne, George Benson, Al Jarreau, Peabo Bryson); 70s R&B/Soul (Roberta Flack, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Gladys Knight & the Pips); , .: Blues//Pop/Soft. Of course the Eagles and the Beatles, unbelievable all-stars in their own right. John Mellencamp and Journey are also big faves. . Always liked a good smidgeon of Nirvana. Classic Rock is the 1st genre, then Easy Listening being 2nd, (Air ) Those artists absolutely take me away. Ethereal-New Age, (Enya, Enigma.) 90s was digging Green Day and the Offspring heavily as well as Collective Soul, early Everclear, (the later stuff is just too monotonous,) Gin Blossoms, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and Hootie's first album. "Today's music": Lenny Kravitz, Sarah McLachlan, Michelle Branch, Natalie Merchant, Goo Goo Dolls (since the 90s-and what a career they have had!), Godsmack, Jimmy Eat World, Cake, Rage Against the Machine, John Mayer (before the rest of the world knew who he was,) a smidgeon of P.O.D., Unwritten Law, Andrew W.K., Travis, Dexter Freebish, the Pat McGhee Band, Fastball, Chevelle, Dope, and Starsailor. SR-71, American Hi-Fi and Lifehouse are above the good line. Love New Wave and Heavy Metal. (Cars, Pretenders, Police, Simple Minds, Duran Duran, INXS, all them one-hit wonder novelties.) (Twisted Sister, Whitesnake, Skid Row, Iron Maiden, Quiet Riot, Britny Fox, Poison, Bon Jovi.) Virtually everything from the 80s. The Go-Gos, Bangles, Pat Benatar, Blondie , Heart and REO Speedwagon (great 70's stuff too.) Survivor, remember them? Awesome stuff. 50s jazz and 40s, (Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Goodman, Mitch Miller, Dave Brubeck).
