Frequent People

The creation of the Frequent People started in a small town called Tathra (mmm… it’s a magical place, you must try & get there one day!). After moving to Melbourne in 2000 from Perth and working the scene for a couple yrs, Nat n Chass (and founding member Trav) packed their studio in their car & headed north, not knowing what was about to eventuate.
After 3 awe-inspiring months of writing, swimming, eating, bush walking, singing, playing, thinking, reading… and drinking too much red wine, Frequent People had unfolded. Always inspired by the people we surround ourselves with, our vision of FP is now truly coming to life…
Currently based in Melbourne we spend our time writing/producing tracks and doing live gigs. We believe the special bond that can develop from playing music with others is remarkable. Recognising the trust that’s required & the equal importance in what each person brings is what we believe can be the recipe for creating that unexplainable & unpredictable magic. That’s what gets us going and what we always strive for with Frequent People.
The members of FP are forever evolving and each track represents moments in time, snapshots of life and are co-written with the people most frequent in our lives…We've also recorded some tunes by our favourite artists at our live gigs so keep your eyes out for the FP bootlegs! Massive respect to all the artists that inspire us.
