My name is Haran,

I am 24, I was born in Hamburg, Germany, moved to Israel, then to Swaziland (southern Africa), back to Israel again, to Germany for the second time, back to Israel again, to Australia and then from there to L.A... After years of being away from Israel and living abroad most of my life I decided to move back indefinitely. To explore my roots, to see what it's like to be independent in the one country that I never really had the chance to experience without any time limits... and the one country that was after all, my home.

I realized that if a person's passion and motivation to play music comes from an honest, true and deep place within them, music will accompany them wherever they wander to... this is a part of my story :)

My parents are both Israeli and great music lovers. Seems somewhat of a challenge to explain my connection to music over the years because it has been a part of me from my oldest memories. Whether I was dancing or performing in choir, sung to or exposed to live music.. it was always around me, and when I look back at my past, I can hardly think of a time, for good and for bad that music wasn't playing somewhere in the background, if not in my mind.

I graduated from high school in Melbourne, Australia and moved to L.A. to attend Musicians Institute at the age of 18. Dedicating my time and life to music was something that I wanted to approach seriously from around the age of 14, I guess as soon as I realized that it was an option :), and though any Musician can tell the other how challenging, unstable and unpredictable our lifestyle is.. I know that it's my way and surprisingly enough, it's definitely been the one consistent factor in my life amongst all the rest of the physical, emotional and mental changes i have experienced..

On a more personal note, the more time passes, the more excited I become about the challenges of expressing my deepest self in my daily life.. and as a result, my experiences reflecting outwards through the gift of having music as my main form of expression.
