About Me

I am a singer/songwriter hailing from Sweden in Scandinavia, working out of both Stockholm, Sweden and Los Angeles, California.
My intention as a songwriter and artist is to be part of a storytelling tradition that I feel is as important as ever. I feel immense respect and gratitude towards the great storytellers that are still among us as well as to those that have gone before.
By telling stories both about life as we see it and also what seems to lie beyond our usual perception of reality, I want to challenge and help both the listener and myself to relate to the world and everything in it in deeper, more real and maybe even new ways.
Sharing my own stories in naked and honest ways is one way to accomplish this, but any story that is longing to be told is welcome to use me for its purposes.
My debut album "BURN", that amongst other songs contain the six on this page, was recently completed and is available for sale by clicking on the link above.
I welcome you to take a listen and I hope you will enjoy what you hear and that I will see you on the road somewhere.
May all beings be blessed!

SOLID GROUND

Influences: MUSICALLY:
Bruce Springsteen - Neil Young - Patty Griffin - Leonard Cohen - Bob Dylan - Nick Drake - Tom Waits - Johnny Cash - Alice In Chains - Pearl Jam - Richard Thompson - Ulf Lundell - Joni Mitchell - Paul Simon - Ryan Adams - Zack Wylde, and a lot more of course.

LYRICALLY:
- The sadness I feel when I see the zombie-like deadness of people who choose to believe in the limitations of their mind and give in to their fear. In sometimes being one of those people I am forced to use my creativity to fall back deeper into my true self.
- People who dare to be truly alive, living their life on the edge of their comfort zone to be able to hold nothing back but BURN as a sacrifice into life and love.
- My own sense of loneliness in this crazy realm of seeming separation.
- The inherent oneness that sometimes reveals itself to me with undeniable truth.
- All great storytellers and stories.
- Anything that carries Truth and True Art.
- Love and Woman.
- People's stories that don't have happy endings. (I don't know why, I've just noticed that that's the case.)
Sounds Like: Some of the above.
