Suzy Ray’s extensive performance career began in her hometown of Adelaide.
After graduating from the University Of South Australia (Drama Major), Suzy started as a professional cheerleader for the Adelaide 36’ers and sung in a variety of live bands.
After winning the International Cheerleading Competition in Japan, Suzy moved to Melbourne where she completed her full-time performing arts course at The Dance Factory.
While studying, she worked for the Victorian State Opera Company, Warner Bros. (live Children's Shows) and appeared in a number of TV commercials.
But this travelling princess needed greater challenges, so Suzy Ray moved to Sydney and became the official Barbie for Mattel's live Barbie shows.
She dazzled thousands of locals and overseas guests as the lead singer on the Sydney Showboat and as a full time performer at Australia's Wonderland Theme Park.
In 2004, Suzy toured Australia with TV heart-throb Ronn Moss (Bold and the Beautiful) as a backing singer and featured dancer.
A career in the entertainment industry has allowed Suzy Ray to travel the world, having performed in England, Scotland, Korea, Singapore, India and Japan.
For the past 7 years Suzy has been vigorously writing and recording new material with a number of Australian songwriters including GT, Pee Wee Ferris and James Ingram. Her lyrics are fun and carefree, her melodies are insanely catchy.
With so much experience under her belt, Suzy Ray is more than ready to take on the world!
