About Me

Bulraga was founded in 2003 and brings together Mark Ennis, Rory Musgrave, Aengus Ã“ MaolÃ¡in and Nigel Smith, four singers from totally different disciplines. Vigorous rehearsals allow the group to explore the interplay between their vocal styles and the multiple other styles and traditions.Bulraga aims for excellence in the performance of new music with particular emphasis on work by members of the group. Bulraga also experiments with all music in four parts, challenging both themselves and their audiences.Bulraga seeks to invigorate new music in Ireland by making its performance enjoyable.
