Fari studied music from aged 9 and after graduating went to central India's H.P. Salve Music Academy for a year of Indian classical vocal, sarod and the science of yoga. She's been part of experimental music collective: Resonancefm for four years, producing CDs, radio show one-offs and series, events and performing on the side. She plays laptop in various styles from live soundscaping to Djing mash ups such as Chinese folk trance or plain Hindi bizarre. She has done this for private parties at the Barbican and Truman Brewery and publicly ICA, Thames Festival, Fawsley Fair, Asian Mela-London. Performing Indian classical with harmonium and laptop drum and bass while singing ancient ragaas is a performance style she performed at Bestival, Big Green Gathering, V Festival and Corsica Arts Studios.

Fari's currently learning circuit bending and is using this to incorporate the Indian classical in the electronic experiments that she has performed at Barbican, Bestival, V Festival, Big Green Gathering, Thames Festival, live in Calfornia for the CD launch of 'Women Take Back the Noise', which features two of Fari's hand built sound art tracks. Fari has also produced a CD 'Art's Content' for Resonancefm of improvised pieces algonside BJ Cole, The Hand of Glory, Alfredo Genovesi.
