Our group performs Sephardic music. We try to show the beauty of this music in its unchanged form.The Sephardic romances and songs are sung on the ancient language - Ladino - a unique Judeo-Espaniol medieval language.The rich and unique musical heritage of the Jews of Spain is an important element in Jewish music as a whole. After the expulsion of the Jews from Spain in 1492, their cultural heritage traveled with them throughout the Mediterranean region. Along the way, their music was enriched by the local timbre they encountered.Few words about me:
From the age of 8 I have been involved into the work of a theatre studio where I studied and acted for 6 years. Then I entered a university for the history of arts and the college for arts crafts.Few years later I have started to seriously learn Indian classical dance (Kathak). At the beginning I studded in Moscow Indian Cultural center and then I left for India to study under patronage of guru Pandit Birju Maharaj. After 3 years in India I started to perform a lot and until now.I've studied classical vocal in a privet school of Marina Kikina ( Moscow).
