Syngretic Soundz is a workgroup and an evolving eco system to study the effect of music and sound on the human body. Started by Vikram Badhwar, Syngretic soundz has been recording ambient sounds, percussion and didgeridoo to create a relaxing space for people he works with. He learns and teaches communication skills using body and energy systems, martial arts, emotive studies and music to teach the essence of real interaction, so he claims!He has been studying an array of hard and soft martial and energy systems like Taekwondo, Kick boxing, Capoeira, Taichi and Falun Gong. His interest in physical theatre coupled with the martial systems is an added bonus to the people he shares his skill with.Musically, Vikram started playing the didgeridoo about 7 years back and from there he rediscovered his taste of percussion. he played the tabla for two years in his teens but left to follow sports. But like they say, if you have a talent and then dont do anything about it, it never leaves you! And it didnt! May it be music, martial arts, language or behaviour Vikram tries to study the synchronicity trying to find the next level. There always is another level!Some of his focus area are:1. Using sound, in certain frequencies, to link the left and right hemispheres of the brain thus increasing the alpha waves and increasing the intellectual and creative abilities simultaneously - a hypothesis becoming a reality.2. Teaching the working middle class of India to get ready for super professionalism - the next level, through his book, "I am Customer Service."3. Studying and sharing the physicality of sounds in language and the style of language using an array of breath sciences.4. Using physical, body movement, and emotive concepts to allow individuals to work in sync with themselves with minimum muscular tension.At the moment, Vikram is receiving ideas on his next book that he calls The Tao of Masochism - writings on pain and ways and methods to displace it. He claims that if we respond and not react to a physical or an emotional sensation, it opens up another level of consciousness.
