About Me

. The idea is to form a human chain around the world in order to try collectively to become aware of the decadence of our soul. After having spent a long time in the spirit of Jazz, in 1994, I went to Varanasi in India with my Soprano in search of the liberating sound. It’s there that I learned to rid me of the impelling illusory desire of creating a blinding image of the self. An afghan friend told me that at the time of the Russian invasion, minefields were adorned with pens and toys to attract children. Relation between thought and emotions, head and Heart are the topics that I deal with now in the vast universe of sound. “One song for Peace” is an “Alap-gior” that I westernised. “Pilu” is a raga that was taught to me by Dhruba Ghosh. This piece is done on a jazz metric structure. It’s my way to tell the ‘masters of world’ that they have failed.
