Penned by Iron4rm, voiced by jak50, with music supplied by the ever present DJ Ob.long, ‘no jump up business’ looks set to take the broadcasting world by storm (in a tea-cup!). ‘No jump up business’ contains elements of self produced skits, sketches, random madness, and includes interviews with prominent local, regional, national and international entertainers, movers & shakers. The show could be pitched as ‘The Tonight Show’ – only not with Jay Leno and not in the States – imagine Spike Lee crossed with Alf Garnett in Stonebridge… on happy pills!
Those who fathom the tastes of this collaboration between jak50 and DJ Ob.long are either from similar backgrounds or have an equally eclectic penchant for that which they refer to as an “honest-to-goodness†sound.
Self deprecating, and with a so-so knowledge of music, j-fizzle’s focus lies in all things Hip Hop, that’s the culture, not rap music. The music will range from funk, soul, rare grooves, DnB, breaks; any and everything with a beat – Tchaikovsky and Beethoven if the mood takes him. jak50 is an ardent believer in recycling rhythms and the renovation of sounds.
