I blame my parents! A childhood of being dragged around galleries and to gigs set me up for a life of ‘Rock’n’Roll’n’Art’. After school I studied graphic design but then concentrated on music. I’ve always played in bands, from about the age of 12 with my dad John B Spencer and then went through a list of many bands – Big Boy Tomato, The Lurkers, The Yo-Yo’s or The Dogs D’Amour, to name a few. Throughout this time, between tours, I picked up the art of stained glass making, helping out at my mother’s long standing business The Stained Glass Place. I then turned to tattooing for a break! The rock’n’roll and tattoo worlds are closely linked. Dan Gold (Kings Cross Tattooing) offered me an apprenticeship, which I took and saw through. I think I have now found the perfect balance between all this with Tattoo Glass.One of my current musical ventures:
