Stained Glass has been around for centuries. Even tho the artists that made them may have died long ago, their master pieces still astonish admirers all over the world. When you think of stained glass, you normally think of church buildings, there are millions of pieces everywhere. It can be very affordable or very expensive depending on your taste, size of the piece, and the construction there in. A lot of homes and businesses have stained glass in the front door or sidelites of the entry to make a statement upon entry. Others have accent windows for a special place in the home or business. I can help you with any aspect of stained glass where ever you want to place it.I am a Stained Glass Artisan. Most people call me an artist when they see my work. Others that know me well describe me as a geek. LOL. I have been working with glass for years and have worked with soldering since I was a child in my fathers TV repair shop soldering on tube sockets way back then. For the younger generation... electronics have came a long way and used to have cathoray tubes in them before transistors. The normal desktop computer you use back in the 70's and 80's was the size of a warehouse with massive air conditioning units cooling them. Tonage is best described as the weight. Rooms filled with disk drives and tape drives. So what better job to have than to work as a stained glass artisan. I love to work with glass and lead as it is soothing and relaxing to me even at times when I can't get it to cut right. The feeling of the piece when it is done and to step back and look at it under light is magical and warm feeling! I make most anything with glass and have thousands of patterns. But I prefer to make original pieces for the customer. I don't make up pieces in advance and hope to sell them...I work with the customer up front and build a custom piece for them. I have an artist shop which is not open to the public which cuts down on the cost of the custom work. Please look at my recent work in the Picture Section and leave me comments. :)
