About Me

I have decided it is time to fill this section with nonsense about who I am...in other words an egocentric litany of self-praise. I am an INTP personality and a Scorpio which entails a certain level of eccentricity and lone wolfishness. I am the quintessential artist in that I make stuff with whatever medium currently strikes my fancy. Could be a self-righteous rant, an angsty poem, a 3-D scene, a digital painting, a sketch on a napkin or something else altogether. I have little use for religion, curse like a sailor, have a wicked tongue and a personality that resembles someone suffering from multiple-personality disorder. I am disorganized, chaotic, sarcastic and unrelenting in my honesty. Don't ask my opinion unless you want a fully unbiased appraisal. I don't much like people on a one on one basis, but spend an inordinate amount of time noting their habits and behaviors. They apparently fascinate me in a way similar to the scientist observing his creation. If you are on my friends list, chances are I have read your blog repeatedly. But since I am paranoid and fearful of reprisal, I will rarely comment. I'd prefer to stay the shadow in the background or the fly on the wall. I have a neverending supply of varied interests and an extreme love of learning. It is hard to tell what train of thought I will be on from one moment to the next. I abhor ignorance and get uncomfortable around ultra-positive types as I find them to be unrealistic. I enjoy the dark underbelly of life in its many facets. I am just as likely to befriend the hooker on the corner as I am the scholar with a pedigree. I am drawn to people with weird habits and unexpected thought processes; coloring outside the lines is the path to originality. I would classify myself politically as a libertarian with strong leanings towards socialism. I love stories; the more complex, conflicted or dark the better. I relate to others through similar experience. As such, I am frequently misunderstood to be egotistical or arrogant. I am neither. I have delved into alot of unusual territories and spent a lifetime involved in introspection. Self is one of the only things I know. I am inspired by deep thoughts and have no interest in superficiality or people who do not learn from their mistakes. I can come off as cold and uncaring but I am actually very sensitive. I figure the hard shell exterior protects the soft parts hiding within.
One final note: I am not a strange person by choice, but more by organic growth. If you have to try to be weird, you are not weird, merely a poser. I hate posers because they are dishonest with self, thus dishonest with others. If you've read this far you have earned your stripes and are worthy friend material. Add away.
When the clouds cover and darken your eyes, I will be the sun burned into your retinas.

My Interests

Sewing, zero-point energy, crochet, lint, hemp jewelry, beadwork, ninja dikes, drawing, painting, physics, photography, people with no vowels in their names, graphics, animation, music, human weakness, movies, indigo children, reading, politics, random pieces of fluff, psychology, world affairs, sociology, transvestites on unicycles, theology, dichotomies, philosophy, junkies, eastern mysticism, yoga, nature, animals, travel, history, science, frailty, poetry, death, the mothership landing in my back yard...y'know, stuff that's interesting.

I'd like to meet:

People who don't suck. From now on, if you blow up my bulletins with self-promotion items, you will be deleted from my friends. I am far more concerned with the state of affairs in the world, than I am with whatever band, book, or artwork you are self-promoting. One bulletin is enough in a day, 5 an hour is not only annoying, it is a spam technique and you are taking space away from the people who bulletin relevant items of interest. If your product was good, you wouldn't need to shove it down people's throats. If you aren't getting the response you wish to, maybe you should spend less time singing your own praises and more time honing your craft.
