SPIJKERS

Snackbarrock collective SPIJKERS revolves around guitarist Pim Scheelings & lead vocalist Lonneker. Dutch enfants terribles Scheelings and Lonneker, both infamous for their mood swings on & off stage, have been involved in countless fights and rows ever since they decided to team up in 2005. Few musicians can stand to be in their presence for long, in the 6 months of their collaboration they managed to loose three bass players, two drummers and two lead singers already. The current composition of SPIJKERS however, seems to be a consistent one. The band is recording a new album at the moment and are looking for a label since their last deal with a French Indie turned sour. (Rumour has it their contract got terminated after Pim and Lonneker borrowed the mercedes of the companies president and lacked to return the vehicle which was later found totalled, in the Parisian red light district.)
