About Me

Psychedelic stonerdoom-band Toner Low are from Holland and released their first cd in January 2006 through Dutch heavy rock-label Freebird Records. Summer 2005 the bandmembers had already released their debut on their own label Roadkill Rekordz, which got them many good reviews in Holland and on internet-magazines. The Italian e-zine Perkele.it dubbed the album "Rivelazione del 2005". Toner Low takes its audience on a doomy stonertrip through heavy guitars, slow-riding drums, rough instrumental riffing, low-frequency bassparts, distorted vocals, hypnotizing themes, psychedelic sound-effects, alienating samples and minimalistic soundscapes. The psychedelic visuals the band use on stage during their live performances add to the mind-blowing mood they conjure with their music. Since their current line-up got together in Summer 2002, Toner Low played many clubs in Holland, and toured in Germany (2003, 2004, 2006, 2007), Belgium (2006, 2007), Austria (2006), Italy (2006), Switzerland (2006), France (2006), Sweden (2006), Denmark (2006) and Luxemburg (2004). April 2006 Toner Low was on the bill of the two days-psychedelic/stoner Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, Holland. Late November 2006 the double-vinyl version of the cd got released. During the past half year Toner Low played gigs in Belgium, Germany (a.o. Swamp Room Happening), Austria and Holland (a.o. with Boris from Japan). Apart from playing live, in 2007 the band spends more time in their rehearsal-room than ever before working on new songs. In the next months Toner Low will do some more gigs in Holland, and have their first gigs in the UK. A second album on Freebird Records is scheduled for 2008.ModMySpace Profile Customizer
