About Me

I was born in a small town near Rotterdam. At the age of 12, I started playing drums but due to some bad experiences with some bands I stopped at the age of nineteen, nineteen, nininininineteen.(?)Somewhere in 2002 I started drumming again and after a year I started to take drumlessons from Ernst van Ee.

At this moment I am a drumteacher at Music Station Rotterdam , the drumschool of Golden Earring drummer Cesar Zuiderwijk, play in a band with Singer/Songwriter Brandon Fisher and a Dire Straits tribute band Sultans of Swing.

Last but not least, I occasionally work as a session drummer (sometimes in combination with A.J. ) so when you are in need, just drop us a message.

I play with Pearl drums, DDrum acoustic drums, Evans Heads, Amedia Cymbals, Balbex Drumsticks and Big Dog/ Pearl Hardware. My goal is to be a respected, infamous drummer and make a living with my own music school MIB Music.

My Interests

Music:

Influences: Because of my (older) brothers I grew up with Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, etc. Later on I only listened to AC/DC, Iron Maiden and Metallica. Then for a period I was a big U2 fan but with the ZOO album they lost me. Nowadays I listen to all kinds of music and don't have a personal favorite but I will allways be a Classic Rocker.
Sounds Like: Nothing spectacular. Just trying to do my best.
Record Label: unsigned
Type of Label: None
