Infamous Dutch singer/songwriter. At the age of fifteen Brandon started singin’ in a local punkband. A year later he found himself entertaining a crowd in a well packed “Paradiso†in Amsterdam. The rest is history. As a singer in a new wave band he supported bands like “Sisters of Mercy†and “Christian Deathâ€. Later he became a singer/guitarplayer in a number of notorious rockbands. He played from any shithole to big venues and festivals throughout Europe, signed a record deal in as well as the Netherlands as Germany, opened for bands like “Zodiac mindwarp and the love reaction†and “Disneyland after dark" and finally moved to Los Angeles where he tried to pursue his musical career by playing the local clubscene (Coconut teaser, Madam Wong’s, Roxy, Troubadour etc). After his last band broke up he decided to take a sabbatical from his rock & roll lifestyle.
In the meantime he started writing songs for a number of artists (Lemming, Linda Caminita, Wolter Kroes, Wally Mckey etc), wrote a musical, started giving singin’ lessons and worked with “Arthur Conleyâ€(RIP), one of the greatest American R&B artists from the sixties (Sweet soul music) who used to share his stage with “Otis Reddingâ€, “Sam Cooke†and “Aretha Franklinâ€.
About a year ago he gathered some great musicians willing to play his songs. Though it had been years since he played with a serious band he found the time was right to make a brand new start. Musically “Brandon Fisher†is hard to place. You can hear a wide range of influences like pop, rock, blues, jazz, punk, lounge, soul, trance, psychedelic and experimental in their music. Last year they have been touring in Holland, germany and Belgium.
