The Sheep are a young Hammond Infused Retrorock band from Tilburg. They started in the end of 2005, all just 15 years old. They began playing everywhere and soon there was a Hammond Organ in the band and The - Sheep - Sound was born. Inspired by band like The Kinks, The Small Faces and The Who they played on major stages like "Bibelot"and "'t Paard van Troje" and had a succesfull tour in France 2007. After reaching the Finals of the bigest Dutch Band COmpetition for under 18 they pulled back to write some new material. The new material felt like a whole new sound, and it was. They recorded it theirselves in one of the members living room. The Ep was released in march 2008 and was a big succes. They played as a support act of the Dandy Warhols in the famous Dutch stage " de Melkweg" in july 2008. The Dandy Warhols, the audiance and the orginisation where all enthausiastic about their sound! For the summer of 2008 they went on a 14-gig-Summertour allong the Surfingclubs of France. They are sponsored by Protest, Kustom and Simple. Now after their second tour they are busy writing a lot of new songs. on 4. september 2008 they supported the Dutch singer/songwriter Ilse deLange. And now, at to end their succesfull year they will support all the Europe mainland shows of the Dandy Warhols' new tour!
