PRAETORIO

HONOUR + LOYALTY

About Me

The project Praetorio saw its daylight on an evening in September 2004.

The first Praetorio track officially released was “Lied voor Mia” that appeared on the “Mia Runa” DCD released by Steinklang to celebrate the label owners daughter's first birthday.

The track was made in December 2003 on my Yamaha RM1x and is meant as bedtime music mixed with an industrial touch. It was initially presented under name IRV , but later I decided to have it released under the new project name Praetorio instead. The “Mia Runa” DCD was released by Steinklang in March 2005.

The Praetorio project was now officially launched I agreed to release a split album with A Challenge of Honour that had the “Hadrian’s Wall” as theme.
This 4 tracks album, narrating the epic of the great Roman defense wall, was released in November 2005 by the record label: Vrihaspati Recordings .
