Beknopte biografiePunk philosopher Pim Scheelings, has been active as a popmusician and cartoonist for about 30 years.
A few bands bands in wich he starred are: Minny Pops, Honger, Crosspex, Vitaal and TV Babys. He played with wellknown names as Ro Krom (Kraak & Smaak), Arnold Smits (Raggende Manne), Pepe Fischer (Beatcream), Maarten Dekker (Dollybirds) and recorded with Manchester Factory legend Martin Hannet.
As a cartoonist he publiced several comicbooks and worked for Algemeen Dagblad, Opscene, Uitgaanskrant Luna and the Haarlems Dagblad.
In the last 10 years we saw Pim take on a new career as a writer of underground books in the tradition of Kerouac and Jan Cremer.
After “Mijn Vader†(1999) and “Zout†(2004), “RotBoek,†a compilation of punkrock stories was published in 2008 by the Henk de Tank foundation.
Currently Pim is working on a biography about Dutch beat legends Q65.
