ARCADE BLASTING EXPERIMENTAL GRIND GAMESCORE

About Me

Formed during the Summer of 2003 in the fertile grindcore pastures of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, WOOP WOOP (aka WOOP X 2) was activated to answer Cav's end of the cul-de-sac conundrum: "who said that Woop Woop?" Many HOUSE OF PIZZA slices washed down with gallons of Big Ben's Birch Beer and too many old cartoons have fueled this ridiculous grindcore phenomenon. Hyper-creative kids and an old bald fool were given an MTV Music Generator for the Playstation 1. Add guitar noise and this is what happens... BLASTING EXPERIMENTAL ARCADE NOISE GRIND rated G for general audiences and geeky grindcore afacianados!!! Inspired by the pie throwing antics of THE THREE STOOGES, all stand-up arcade games from the 80's and the inherent silliness of life on Earth, the wacky WOOP WOOP sound is guaranteed to provoke confusion and generate many a chuckle! The debut recording session that was to be the Who Said That? MCD on LAST HOUSE ON THE RIGHT Records will now be released as a Split CD with central Pennsylvanian electronoise nutters DxAxFxTxOxEx... Drop the coin, UP THE WOOPS!.. " border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"Wacky Packages - Yummy!

Sounds Like: ...Sounds like being trapped in a giant Arcade circa 1981 while all the games go berserk and try to re-program their circuits to play grindcore / power violence and arcade Gamescore electro swing jazz! ...Quarters, cream pies, habaneros and The Super O fly through the air with equal abandon! Chaotic electronic drum machine blasting and wierdo synthesizer ooze meet zombified noise-surfing Game Grind to create the most demented concoction of pulsating "plank-to-the-noggin'-core" that ever demanded many a replay! If songs about saying the nonsense word "woop", mispronounced cooking terms, Knobel's Grove Amusement Park, Parker Bros. Yahtzee! game, the 1979 Williams' GORGAR Pinball machine, The Three Stooges and BIG BEN'S Golden Birch Beer sound uninspired, this Pennsylvanian Funcore Grind Inferno is most likely not your spilled cup of unsweetened Turkey Hill green tea... To reiterate, THIS SOUNDS LIKE A GIANT 'WOOP WOOP' TO YOUR HEAD!!! "Stand back and keep you're eye on the ball!" UP THE WOOPS! Play again? 25 cents...
