Concept for back to basics old school UK tour
In Finland Enjoying what so far has been a killer tour and we still have so many shows and places to look forward to - Fucking cold though.
Anyway we have the idea for sometime now to hopefully put together a uk tour of smaller clubs and pubs,as we havent really toured the uk as much as we would have loved in the past.Ocasionally we have been to places as in newtown,wales where we met so many fans and saw such response to a local gig that they aranged there for some local bands that we got to thinking well,maybe we could do an extensive tour in smaller towns in the UK and play city's and towns that noone goes to..
In a nutshell we would love to hear from serious local promoters around the United kingdom who would be up for such an idea.I know theres an abundance of killer up and coming grind/hardcore/death metal bands who will hopefully be into playing their local towns with us also,I have heard from a couple of promoters over the past couple of months and we havent forgotten about you guys
Please only serious enquiries but we would love to see this happen one day soon with killer local opening bands who can maybe help spread the word old school style so we can all have some killer/Fun shows

We are Venomous Concept definition hardcore punk, by men who created the forum. Napalm Death, Brutal Truth, the Melvins, Fantomas, Brujeria, Damaged the list goes on for some 20 years of recording and a combined total of 80 years of punk rock history. I think it is safe to say we know what we are doing. We are the sum total -- Japanese, Swedish, Finish, English, West Coast... a nonstop assault of raw noise From the Gauze riffing to the brutal abuse of the Discharge beat... the GISM inspired art to the Poison Idea attitude, we make no apologies... fuck you if youre asking
Over the years I had talked off and on about doing a record with Buzz. My old band had done a split 7 with his and I tracked some stuff with the Melvins, but it wasnt until I went out with Napalm a bit ago that the light switch went off in my head. A few calls later Venomous Concept. Which, by the way, is a play on Poison Idea quite possibly the heaviest punk band to ever grace a stage. Originally, Shane and I were talking with Mick Harris Shanes old drummer. I had done some stuff with him in a band called Pain Killer and it seemed like a good idea. At the last minute, Mick committed to a straight job teaching recording to the next generation and raising his family. Could have been a problem, but fortunately for us, Napalms Danny Herrera was visiting family in LA and seized the Discharge beat. We got together in October, and worked it out flawlessly.
We recorded our debut, Retroactive Abortion in this LA sweatbox for pocket change on our own As Shane says, You want perfection, fuck off! I didnt want any record label dictating terms Oh you got to use this producer and this $1,200 dollar a day studio is a must. That is an excellent way for some failed musician to enslave you to a contract that can never be fulfilled. A bitter note in my past history with the game. So we abused this freak engineer, Huey Dee, with nonstop noise for I believe 5 days It is raw, hurtful and very true to the music that inspired us, but it is ours and I think its beautiful.
Buzz suggested his current label, Ipecac Recordings. To be honest, they were the only ones we considered. And given our past track record with countless labels, none of which a clue, Ipecac was obvious. Patton had worked with Zorn in both Naked City and Pain Killer, as I It was all in the family and better off that way. Lets face it, if youre going to run a bowling alley, there is a good chance you should bowl a game or two. Mikes game is flawless He knows his shit and thats good enough for me.
Make no bones about it, we are outlaws. Aint a crime we havent committed, drink every refused and gig we never crushed. Believe it, we are for real and Retroactive Abortion is the rebirth of outlaw punk

Napalm Death are long time good friends of mine and I created all of these websites as a tribute its members and friends and for you to enjoy. Napalm Death means a lot of things to a lot of people. It has been magnificent to see all the transformations and musical styles that the band has undergone over the better half to two decades. Whether you are a new school fan or an old school fool or anywhere in between, the bands music and live performances have always been and always will be extreme!
A lot of people have a lot of questions and comments for me and ones that are directed towards the bands. I will try to answer as many questions as possible.
Q: Why dont you do other bands websites that former Napalm members where in like Cathedral, Scorn, Carcass, ect
A: Quite honestly, because at this point, I have my hands full enough with these bands as it stands! Nothing against the other bands or anything like that. I actually love them too! This is just how things feel into place for me I suppose. Perhaps someday if I complete the other websites proper, then I may expand. But that may never happen with the amount of work I have gotten myself into!
Q: Will Napalm members see the messages that I leave on the webpage and will they respond?
A: What I can tell you is that, they know about the websites and appreciate everyones comments. I can not guarantee a response, however some of the bands members visit My Space quite often.
Q: Can you forward information to the band for me or can you give me there email address?
A: The best thing I can tell you is to send your personal correspondence to the official Napalm Death website www.enemyofthemusicbusiness.com . Out of respect for there privacy, I do not share that information. But I am sure you understand
Q: How often will updates be made to the websites?
A: Well, as often as I can I suppose. Just like you, I have another life and I work full time and then some. Sometimes things are slower, sometimes not. Basically I do the best I can when I can. I do this not only for myself, but for its thousands of fans to enjoy, discover and celebrate the legacy of music they have created! Plus it is a great tribute to my friends, I love my friends and family very much!
Q: Where can I find bootlegs or live recordings of Napalm Death (related bands) gigs and concerts?
A: Well using this My Space page would be a good start. This is a great service that gives many people a chance to meet and greet. You can also use the bands websites to post messages or requests.
Q: How come there are no message boards on any of the websites?
A: Because I need help doing that. So if you think you an help me out with that or any of this, I am very open to that!
