It's debated between us when exactly this band started. So Ill just tell you from where I can remember...It all began with two longtime friends pitching a concept in 1998. The two were Jackie Brock and Jon Breedlove. Jack decided he was going to be a drummer and Jon a singer. We laughed.... A while later I was visited by two very talented fellas of the same names. They presented this idea to me and I could'nt say no. I became part of the I.E Brotherhood that day....Jack's role:(P.R./Drums.), - Jon's:(All Art, Everywhere!!!/Vocals.) The first song -SPITTING DISTANCE- was written in my living room with me playing guitar under direction and Jack drumming the arm of my couch. While Jon screamed just loud enough to make the neighbors wonder if there were "strange animals about." -Shortly after that,. I was introduced to a talented bass player and (all round Pro.,) A.K.A.-Dr. Scott McElwee. He taught me how to play with "limited" gear and still get the same effect. (Also fixed much broken shit!)- Scott Foord joined to top it off. An obvious choice and well known guitar player I learned from when I first started playing heavy riffs. From there, we knew we'd atleast get some free beer !!! So we set off on a long bumpy ride across The States. Learning about compromise, POVERTY and what we, and other people like to hear. This is what we've come up with. Like it or not!-This is CRACKFIGHT...
Scott Foord and Scott McElwee have taken the next step in their lives and decided to say goodbye to Crackfight. They are very much loved and will be missed dearly. We will be coming back with a new line up soon...so stayed tuned.
