Paul (GrooveGalore) KasticKMontego Bay, Jamaica 1984: One would have thought that Paul KasticK was born with a pair of drumsticks. Fascinated by the forces of music throughout his childhood - piano, drums, keyboards, bass, horns - the drums is what KasticK would go on to master.The era of real training as KasticK would put it This was real life and he would come to bring his own interpretation to the groove. Having always been young and pure at heart, he is adventurous and versatile in his style. Now in his innovative prime, his only quest is to be Groovier & cutting edge with his creative talent - pushing & breaking down the boundaries of music. Having toured around the world since being chosen in 1989 to rule the drummers chair for Jamaicas top backing band 809, KasticK has never looked back, nor taken any prisoners. KasticK has been working for years as a drummer, music director, and producer, and he is currently working alongside Grammy nominated Reggae/Pop/R&B artist Maxi Priest.KasticK has toured, recorded and played with such musical greats as: Dennis Brown, Shaggy, & Rayvon, UK Pop sensation Apache Indian, International reggae group Big Mountain, Percy Sledge, Gwen Guthrie, Diana King, Aswad, Steel Pulse, Freddie Magregor, Gregory Issaccs, Judy Mowatt, Capleton, Luciano, Buju Banton, Soul Case, Janna Bent, Beenie Man, Shabba Ranks, Chaka Demus & Pliers, Tony Rebel, Sizzla, Junior Kelly, Culture, Richie Stephens, Benji Myazz, Dean Fraser, Bob Marleys Junior Marvin, Marcia Griffiths, I Threes, Rita Marley, Beres Hammond, Terry Linen, Carlene Davis, Junior Tucker, Leon, Japanese DJ Nahki & R&B sensation Sharissa.KasticK (with business partner XRomando and production partner Norris Webb) has now formed NativeXaymaycan Ent./Muzik Inc., the parent company for GrooveGalore Productions and his creative nest.
