Born and raised in Kingston Jamaica august 1967, Norris Webb had being living the life of a normal school and church going boy until after high school where he found himself drawn to music and its ingredients, which lead him to what they call the mother instrument, The piano, and eventually ended up on the keyboards/Synthesizers.
The real training for his profession was done not knowing what he was getting himself into but it was inflicted upon him a few months after high school, when he ended up playing in one of the top hotels on the north coast of Jamaica. Having done just over a year or so in the hotel industry, Norris evolved in his playing and ended up playing for the professionals in the real world of live professional music. With the talent of a good ear and keyboard programming, he went ahead teaming up with members of the hotel band and formed the band called City Heat which in a short time became one of the top backing bands ever created in the history of Jamaica. During this time he ended up playing for most if not all of the prime performers on the market. Norris was also called to perform with other groups within the circuit and before long, became one of the leading keyboard players in and around Jamaica which lead him to freelancing and soon ended up touring and recording with many of different top performers worldwide. Since then Norris has not looked back and has been working as a keyboard player, musical director and now is into the world of Production. Norris has recently teamed up with fellow musician (Drummer) Paul Kastick that formed a production company called Groove Galore productions and is working together to bring new waves of music to this generation.
Artists such as Bob Marley, Third World, Stele Pulse, Shabba Ranks, Super Cat, and Ninja man influences him. Influences on the pop and R&B side are artist that range from Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson to Anita Baker and Celine Dion. In short Reggae/Hip Hop/R&B/Pop and Jazz influence him.
