About Me

NOTE: As you probably have already guessed - Stephen Harper is not spending hours maintaining his own MySpace. This page is a tribute and parody for Canada's 22nd Prime Minister - The Rt. Hon. Stephen Joseph Harper. If you wish to contact the the Prime Minister directly, please visit his official homepage for additional information.
What does North America's smartest right wing leader listen to while he is up late planning Canada's future? Enjoy my song list "Tunes for a Conservative Agenda."
THIS WEEK'S FEATURED VIDEO:Yun-Mei, Canada's only Panda Bear in captivity, has expressed a desire to get an abortion. As Prime Minister I have taken a strong stand against Panda Abortion and believe that Panda Abortion is a threat to our Canadian way of life. Panda abortion might be okay for America and its rogue gun-toting culture. But not in my Canada dammit! Become educated. Stop Panda abortions! Please watch:

Stephen Harper was sworn in as Canadas 22nd Prime Minister on February 6, 2006.
Mr. Harper was first elected to the House of Commons in the 1993 federal election as the Reform Partys candidate in Calgary West. He left Parliament in 1997 to become Vice President (and later President) of the National Citizens Coalition, a prominent Canadian advocacy organization. In 2002, he became Leader of the Opposition after winning the leadership of the Canadian Alliance and a subsequent by-election in Calgary Southwest.
In 2003, Mr. Harper co-founded the Conservative Party of Canada and went on to contest and win the new partys leadership.
As Conservative leader, Mr. Harper ran in the 2004 federal election and increased the Conservatives standing in the House of Commons by 25 seats, including an important breakthrough in Ontario. On January 23, 2006, Mr. Harper led the Conservative Party to power by winning 124 seats in Canadas 39th federal election.
As Prime Minister, Mr. Harper is committed to building a Canada that remains strong, united, independent and free. He is committed to enacting accountability measures for government, lowering taxes for working families, reforming the criminal justice system, helping parents cope with the costs of child care and negotiating a patient wait times guarantee with the provinces.
Stephen Harper was born on April 30, 1959, in Toronto, Ontario. He moved to Alberta in 1978 to work in the petroleum industry and went on to obtain both a bachelors and a masters degree in economics from the University of Calgary. Mr. Harper and his wife, Laureen (Teskey) Harper, have two children, Benjamin and Rachel, and maintain a permanent home in Calgary.

My Interests

The Littlest Hobo . A little bit of Canadiana. If you haven't seen this show in re-runs once, you probably saw it when it ran originally on CTV between 1979 - 1985. Trivia: A then-unknown Mike Myers appeared in an episode of The Littlest Hobo. He played a paraplegic Frisbee thrower's friend.

Reflecting on 3,598 that gave their lives at Vimy Ridge .

Hockey is my passion. I am rumoured to be writing a book about its history and foundation . I also hope to see Canada bring home the Stanley Cup during my time as Prime Minister.

Have you seen her? Check this out to see the whole description and please check out the Canada - Missing Children website .

Harpermania . Like Trudeaumania except the chicks are older and not as pretty.

I'm a family man at heart.

I wear my sunglasses at night too!
