The 12 year old young man that wrote this letter...................................................... ............................................................ .....For safty I removed the childs name and the congressman it was addressed to If you would also like to send a letter to the congressman on the childs behalf contact me and I will email you in inmates information and who to dress your letter or letters to Help us help this Child get his dad home!!!!!!!!................................................ ..........I have written you once before about the federal prison USP Terre Haute not allowing my family and I to visit my dad. My mother recieved a letter resently telling her we are still denide they still do not believe we all knew each other before he went to jail they even have letters from my mom's mom my dad's mom and sister and still they denide us. We still can not visit my dad I did not get to see my dad for Christmas this year. Now they are treating my dad badly because I wrote a letter to BOP about visitation and they are now holding dad's mail like 2 weeks before they give it to him unless it is legal mail and he may get in more trouble over me writing you I just don't know who I am to talk to I write BOP and I think mom wrote you and one of the senators and now look what they are doing to my dad and there not being nice. I am writing you to ask for your help. I want to ask you if you can please help me bring my dad home. My dad was sentenced as a Armed Career Criminal because they said he had 3 violent felonies. My dad never hurt anyone so how can they say violent felonies I was taught you have to hurt someone for it to be violent. Why is it a murderer can serve a few years and get out on parole. My dad has to serve 15 years before he can get parole for posession of a firearm. Isn't murder worse then what my dad did my dad did not hurt anyone and he never would hurt anyone. The felonies they used against my dad were from way back before I was born in 1990-1991. Over 10 years ago when this happened. I seen on the news a man that killed someone served 8 years and got out on parole. Child molester served 1 year and got out on parole. Aren't those crimes worse then what my dad did. My dad was not committing a crime of any kind when they arrested him for posession of a firearm. So my dad got 200 months he has already served 3 years. My dad's attorney told him to take the plea cause the most they could give him was 5 years. My dad listened to her and took the plea and got 200 months instead. It's pretty much the same as life I guess. She was a public defender. Over posession of a firearm that belongs to my grandmother the guns are registered to her not my dad. When my dad was in the Federal prison in KY he got beat up real bad. They waited 3 days before they took him to the hospital. When he got there they had to do sergery and they had to put a plate in my dad's jaw to hold his jaw together. Thats why my dad got moved from there to Terre Haute, IN. The prison in KY has it on camera they men jumping my dad. My dad did not do anything to deserve that my dad was not the one to get into trouble cause they knew from the cameras he did not do anything. They knocked my dad out and beat him up breaking his jaw and ribs. My dad is also a diabetic and the prison he is at now only allow him 2 insulin shots a day. That is not enough for him on most days so he is having alot of trouble keeping his sugar down. I am scared that they are going to let my dad die cause he is not getting the care he needs. Now they say my dad my have to have sergery on his eyes because of his diabeties. I am not clear on all those details but I am scared my dad may be loosing his sight. Another reason I need my dad home. My mother will be having major sergery soon on her C-Spine and spinal cord. My dad needs to be home to take care of mom when she comes home also to take care of my sister and I. The prison still will not allow us to see my dad and I am scared that I may never see my dad again because he is not took care of. If something happens to my mom what happens to my sister and I. So I am writing you and begging and pleading for your help. Please help me bring my dad home. We really need him here at home to take care of his family. Can you please help with anything. Help me get him on parole or home arrest or something so he is home with his family where he is needed pretty bad rite now. feel like I may be loosing both my parents because my mom is going to have serious sergery. My dad is not getting the medical care that he needs. I plead and pray you can help me.Thank you for your time. Have a nice day. God Bless You,
