About Me

As the third planet from a moderate sized star Sol, I am at the optimum distance to harbor and sustain a multitude of life: home to billions of different life-forms. The Sun and the rest of our family of planets, comets, and asteroids resides in the outskirts of the Milky Way Galaxy about 28,000 light-years from the center. (The Milky Way, in turn, is part of the Virgo Supercluster of galaxies.)
Remember, we are all family…made from the very elements that made our sun, moon, and other planets. I encourage you all to learn about me and especially about the universe you live in.
p.s.
I do not need to be saved. No amount of pollution will restrict me from orbiting our Sun. The only thing that I worry about is the Sun's Red Giant phase in stellar evolution...oh... and the occasional stellar sized black hole passing through our local neighborhood.
