I'd like to meet:
I like to meet intelligent, fun people who enjoy life! What's the point if you don't smile and enjoy along the way? Humanity has long been a fascination. I have a favorite quote by author Thomas Lynch - to paraphrase the tensing "in the eyes of strangers is the shared light of humanity." I love to watch people and see what makes them tick. I think that is why I've always been a big fan of the cinema. You get to be a part of people's lives for a while. Experience something with them.To meet people with a specific classification in mind, I think, would be too limiting to myself and to others. I suppose I don't want that limitation.

Movies:
Asking a person who is so into movies to pick a favorite is like asking for a favorite drink of water. I enjoy epic tales that truly wrap me up and make me care, enlighten me, but nothing makes me giggle like Happy Gilmore. Dodgeball and You, Me, And Dupree are close to my heart. I love a good thriller but too many horror movies are grossness not horror, to me anyway. Some movies I really like:Genres (action/adventure probably #1, #2 Fantasy, #3 Sci Fi, #3 Romantic Comedy, #4 Thriller)Braveheart, Ever After, LOTR, Star Wars Original trilogy, Indiana Jones collection, Lethal Weapon collection, XXX, Riddick Collection, Spaceballs, Real Genius, Dodgeball, Man From Snowy River, Quigley Down Under, Princess Bride, Kiss the Girls, POC & POC2, Lcuky Number Slevin, Clercks, Clercks II, King Arthur, 50 First Dates, Wind That Shakes The Barley, Happy Gilmore, Never Been Kissed, When Harry Met Sally,Another Mother's Son, Some Kind of Wonderful, Breakfastclub, Sleeping Beauty (still like it), Vertigo, , Timeline (wayyyyyy better book than movie, but..), oh, I could go on and on.
Television:
Current favorite fascinations: CSI, NCIS, Deadliest Catch, Ghost Hunters, SGA, SG1, Firefly, Farscape, The Closer, Saved, Solitary, Shark. The best tv show ever made - Battlestar Galatica. I'm sure I will find more to get sucked into.
Books:
My reading pile is always growing, changing, somehow multiplying. Shana Abe, Karen Marie Moning, Kat Martin, Christopher Golden, Melissa Schroeder, Michelle Pillows, Kara Fey, Robin D. Owens, Sharon Mignerey, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Christine Feehan, Julie Garwood, Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson, Susan Squires, Alma Alexander, Carol Berg, are some of my autobuys :-) I love to read and am always looking for new must haves. From the last signing I was at, I have two more auto must haves - Karin Tabke and Sunny
Heroes:
Batman. Thor. My dad. Wolverine. (Men in a couple books - tee hee) Mr. Colbert :-) Those who have fallen for liberty and the unsung who every day give everything to make someone smile, make someone safe, let someone live.
