Treat others the same way you want to be treated

About Me

Hmmm, about me. Tough one. I'm an enigma I think but others may not agree. First, I'm a husband and father, happily married with a 11 year old daughter. I'm usually happy and playful, I "pick" a lot and tease my friends, I like to zing when you leave a door open - if you know what I mean, I can be hard and tough when necessary, outgoing and shy at different times, I'm honest, trustworthy, blunt, very open, loving, tender, love to kiss but haven't perfected that hug thing yet. I'm a creative sort though sometimes my brain doesn't work as well as I'd like and I get frustrated when creating; usually though I find something to create. Along with my wife, I run Blue Mountain Designs, a business that sells our handmade creations - see my #1 on my Top 24 for more details: I like working with polymer clay, beads, painting rocks, making jewelry, and other stuff. I love gems, crystals, minerals and I'm very interested in alternative medicine, holistic healing techniques, herbs, and anything related to Mother Earth. I love the mountains and walking in them. I'm a dreamer - big time dreamer - and believe anything can happen in life. I believe in helping people all the time and in treating people the way you want to be treated. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE wolves, fairies, and dragons and anything having to do with them! I also LOVE animals and extend all the love and care to them that I would give humans. I don't sleep well and when I do, I dream big time. I almost always remember my dreams and they are usually very engrossing stories. I tried to interpret my dreams but when I read that dreaming about bees meant good luck was coming your way, I tossed the book out. Why, you ask? Because I can't stand bees. I don't hate them but I'm not fond of them either - my parents says it stems back to my childhood when I was covered in black flies as a baby and heard their non-stop buzzing. Could be - who knows for sure - but I do know that I'm not a fan of bees and whenever I ever have a nightmare, it's only about bees. Go figure. I also like to write, though I don't get enough time to do it and always seem to make it my last priority creative project-wise. I guess I go through spurts. I've got tons of short stories I've written as well as a partially completed book and one completed children's book. I tend to write in the fantasy genre the most but also do main stream, erotica, and children's stories. Overall, I'd say I'm a nice guy and a good person to know and be friends with. I think so at least. You'll have to decide on your own.Information about Blue Mountain DesignsBlue Mountain Designs is a partnership of love and artistic vision. Gina and Brian Collier have been life-long fans of the arts and crafts so it was only natural to combine their talents and bring you their inspirations of beauty, joy, and whimsy. While they primarily focus on jewelry, painted, and clay creations, they'll also produce surprises in other mediums. Please view our company profile, which is #1 on my top 24 friend list for more additional information. Thanks.

My Interests

Wow - so many to list. Animals, animals, animals. I'm a HUGE animal lover and they seem to feel the same way. Wherever I go, whatever I do, animals always seem to seek me out. Call it a mutual attraction, an animal instinct, or just plain weird but 'tis the truth. If I could take in every animal out there, I would. I've already started - I have 8 cats, and 1 dog (which, I might add, acts just like a cat! But then again, some of my cats act just like a dog so maybe the cosmic powers that be like playing jokes on me. And I'm serious, I have cats that play FETCH for goodness sake! And in one cat's case, he likes to play fetch with a DOG toy - this medium-sized rope used for tug-of-war!!!). Ok, enough about animals. I also like the outdoors, the mountains, the fresh air, taking long walks outside, bike riding, my family, arts and crafts - like polymer clay, painting on rocks, making jewelry, reading, watching movies, being with friends, meeting new people, and so many other things. I'm curious by nature so you can imagine the kind of trouble I get myself into...........I also like collecting crackle glass among other things and absolutely love Fairies, Dragons, and anything else to do with the fantasy realm as well as the paranormal/sci fi realm! Lastly, I am very interested in alternative medicine and healing techniques, chakra's, anything related to the paranormal and mystical, and last but not least, rocks, gems, crystals, and minerals. Basically anything having to do with Mother Earth.

I'd like to meet:

Writers, publishers, editors, artists, and crafters. Folks interested in the paranormal and fantastical. My ancesters. My Myspace friends. Ghosts and/or spirits - no one specific per se but I'd like to meet one or two one day. Nice ones though - not nasty ones. Fairies and dragons that exist on this planet as well as others. Beings from other planets or galaxies - I truly believe they are out there. Also anyone that shares the same interests as me or just wants to chat. I love to meet new people so don't be shy!NOTE: No, I'm not collecting friends. Yes, I do believe in networking. In short, my friends list is growing because I always try and add writers, editors, publishers, artists, crafters and folks with similar interests. I enjoy chatting with them, following their careers, and being inspired by their work.

Music:

Country, 80's rock and pop, some Celtic, some Christian rock and country, and some of the good 50's and 60's rock. some of my favorite singers/groups are....Country: Sara Evans, Shania Twain, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, SheDaisy, Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, Lonestar, Rascal Flats, Alan Jackson, Deirks Bentley, Sugerland, Dixie Chicks, Trace Adkins, and many, many others. 80's rock and pop: Duran Duran, R.E.M., Mr. Mister, Mike and the Mechanics, Starship, Bruce Springsteen, and many others. 50's and 60's rock: Bobby Darin and others that I can't think of at the moment. Celtic and Christian: I'm too new to these music genre's to have favorites yet. I also like some of the modern rock/pop groups and songs

Movies:

I really don't have a favorite one. I just like good ones, action ones, ones that run the themes of the books I read, that sort of thing. I do enjoy watching them, especially when I'm with someone I care about and want to be alone with - just sitting in the dark, eating popcorn, and watching together seems so intimate yet so innocent at the same time.

Television:

Let's see - I'm not a huge TV watcher but shows I do like to watch when I'm in the mood are Stargate, Stargate Atlantis, Andromeda, NCIS, CSI, 24, most science fiction and fantasy related stuff, Law and Order: SVU, Charmed, and others that I can't think of.......

Books:

Anything to do with fantasy, science fiction, thrillers, and non-fiction true stories, plus paranormal, ghosts, spirits, magic, etc.

Heroes:

Anyone who takes time out to help someone else. People that treat animals just like they would their own family. Fire fighters, police men, soldiers, and all those other service-oriented professionals that put their lives on the line daily and ask for nothing in return. My parents for instilling in me the values that I hold dear to my heart.
