Tune in to Fresh Air at www.freshair.org.uk
Fresh Air is an independant internet radio station, based in the University of Edinburgh, but compromising of members from the many universities and colleges within Edinburgh, as well as non-students.
We are an open organisation, offering full training to everyone who wants to be involved, allowing people to express themselves on air and share their music and creativity.
Fresh Air champions local music through our playlists, interviews and live sessions. We also focus on Edinburgh's club-scene with our guest-sets from various club nights. Specialist music is important too, and you can find anything from electronica to death metal in our specialist music shows. With such diversity in programming, every two hours you can tune back in and hear something completely different.
Despite this diversity, you will always find something you can listen to during the day but without the 'chart' music that you're going to find on every other station; Fresh Air remains alternative yet accessible.
Fresh Air hosts many club nights and events. From the massive 'Club Together' - featuring Edinburgh's top club nights - to 'Speakeasy' - a swing and jazz extravaganza - to many other events of a huge varitey including 'John Peel Day' with live bands and local DJs.
