Raising Awareness & Funds for Suicide Prevention

About Me

"It doesn’t matter how strong your opinions are. If you don’t use your power for positive change, you are, indeed, part of the problem."
Stigma. Shame. No one should have to live with it. Some choose not to live at all because of it. Depression is something most have dealt with at some point, but there are those that have allowed depression to take them down that road so far they have become lost and don’t know how or where to get help. Some are afraid to step out because of the shame associated with depression and suicide.
We can make a difference in how mental health is seen. It is not our goal to fight suicide. It is our goal to promote hope, healing and restoration one step at a time. Suicide is a permanent answer to a temporary problem.
We work with mental health and suicide prevention organizations to raise funds and awareness through live music events, action sports events, and annual discount card sales. YOU can make a difference too. .
Please join us in bringing health and hope to those trying to find their way back from that dark hole we call depression. Suicide is preventable, with your help.
Because what we do now affects others forever...

Jaded Productions supports the Kristin Brooks Hope Center

Survivors of Suicide is a support group formed to provide an unbiased and understanding place to talk with others that have lost loved ones to suicide and share support. If you or someone you know has suffered that loss, please feel free to join.

Influences: More than 30,000 people in the United States die by suicide every year. It is this country's 11th leading cause of death, and the third leading cause of death among people ages 15-24. Suicide is not about wanting to die, but about a powerful need for pain to end. People choose suicide because they feel unable to cope with feelings of pain, hopelessness, helplessness, isolation, and uncertainties.

Studies indicate that the best way to prevent suicide is through the early recognition and treatment of depression and other psychiatric illnesses that lead to suicidal tendencies. Because people who want to die by suicide almost always suffer from isolation and loneliness, you can help them simply by reaching out, listening, and letting them know you care. Often, with time and the help of others, suicidal feelings do pass. Suicide is a permanent "solution" to what is most likely a temporary problem.

The more you know about suicide, the better you will be able to help someone struggling with these issues. Use the resources on this page to learn more about the warning signs of suicide, and what you can do to help promote suicide awareness and prevention.
