SUGAR SKATEBOARDS was planted in 1999 in West Los Angeles, California as an INDEPENDENT skateboard brand. Original mission: CREATED and DESIGNED from ground up by SKATEBOARDERS for SKATEBOARDERS with its selected distribution of accounts. The Team is: Billy Roper, Chris Blazek, DJ Fort, Robin Stoddard, Ricky Fox, Mario Saenz and Marko "Shark" Jazbinsek. Sugar's first video LANDING PRIMO was released in 2004. In 2006, an international skateboard team started. In 2007 full-length video DETOUR dropped, shot on locations in US, Mexico and Europe. In 2008 the search for best skate spots continues, Sugar team keeps traveling & filming - resulting in SUGAR-UNCUT, short film scheduled to be released in summer of '08... stay tuned!
