Skateboarders have a way of looking at things, differently. A man sits down on a bench awaiting a bus. Another (man) uses a handrail as he walks down a flight of stairs. Most minds use these common, everyday man made elements without much thought or anticipation beyond there obvious functions. Skateboarders have the magic eye. The bench becomes hours of endless possibilities. The handrail an adrenalin rush with the chance of rolling away from something that Evel Knievel would smile at and be proud of. Seeing things differently keeps skateboarding growing with the creative intensity like a living, breathing piece of art hanging on your wall. It's ever changing with architecture as its canvas and four wheels and a board as its paintbrush. That's the best way I can describe what Sugar Skate Co. is all about. It's about skateboarding and seeing things differently. Seeking, creating and designing a skateboard brand all through the eyes of skateboarders. In 1999 Sugar started its evolution in Los Angeles.
