"Real peace and happiness has to come from the heart, from within.
So therefore, to eliminate wars and destroying each other,
to eliminate famine, disease and earthquakes,
and to eliminate all other disasters an unfavourable experiences,
all this can be stopped by having loving kindness toward each other.
From having a good heart with loving kindness, negative action cannot arise."
Lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche

There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer; no disease that enough love will not heal; no door that enough love will not open; no gulf that enough love will not bridge; no wall that enough love will not throw down; no sin that enough love will not redeem... It makes no difference how deeply seated may be the trouble; how hopeless the outlook; how muddled the tangle; how great the mistake. A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all. If only you could love enough you would be the happiest and most powerful being in the world-

(REIKI Universal Life Energy)
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
Below, A PRAYER FOR WORLD PEACE
By Paramahansa Yogananda
Heavenly Father, Mother, Friend, Beloved God! May Thy love shine forever on the sanctuary of my devotion, and may I be able to awaken Thy love in all hearts.â€
Close your eyes and concentrate deeply at the center of divine consciousness between the eyebrows. Feel the infinite love of God within your heart. Let your heart emanate that love for all the world. Pray deeply that the clouds of war fade away. Let us with all our hearts pray to God that His heavenly forces of goodness and love, ever subtly vibrating in the ether, be not overÂpowered in the hearts and minds of men by Satan’s suggestions of discord and enmity. For the forces of evil are aggressive, while the forces of good are humble and unassuming.
“Heavenly Father, bless our brothers and sisters living under the dark clouds of war, that they may be relieved from the obsesÂsion of Satan’s ignorance and hatred; and may Thine unassuming power of unifying love and peace conquer the aggressive forces of evil. We send out our deepest love for all, that they may receive Thy light of brotherhood and understanding, and be thereby guided to stop destroying each other and creating vibrations of evil that bring the mass karma of depression, catastrophe, and destruction all over the world.â€
Feel that your love is going forth like an invisible X-ray, coursing through space into the hearts of the dictators and prime ministers and heads of all nations, that they may bring peace and international prosperity on earth instead of destruction. Include in the powerful radiation of your love all peoples of the world. May our united healing rays of love be surcharged by the infinite love of our Father and bathe the entire earth, permeating the hearts of all leaders and citizens of the world, that they may be filled with the universal amity and harmony of Spirit—bringing peace on earth, goodwill toward all, under the Fatherhood of God.
“Heavenly Father, bless the nations of the earth, our own large family, that all may realize their eternal kinship as Thy children. Thou art our one spiritual Father, the Beloved of the Universe and the Beloved of our hearts. May the strong thoughts of love we broadcast today possess the brains of the dictators and generals, that they may be filled with Thy wisdom, and so desist from working toward the common ruin of humanity. Bless them all. Bless all citizens of the earth, that they may establish a cooperative unity among all souls, and live in a united world with Thy power and light of love guiding us to Thy kingdom.â€
Aum. Peace. Amen.
(From the book;
The Little Prince)
And the little prince went away, thinking of his flower."Who are you?" asked the little prince, and added, "You are very
pretty to look at.""I am a fox," the fox said."Come and play with me," proposed the little prince. "I am so
unhappy.""I cannot play with you," the fox said. "I am not tamed.""Ah! Please excuse me," said the little prince. But, after some thought, he added:"What does that mean--'tame'?""You do not live here," said the fox. "What is it that you are looking
for?""I am looking for men," said the little prince. "What does that
mean--'tame'?""Men," said the fox. "They have guns, and they hunt. It is very
disturbing. They also raise chickens. These are their only interests. Are
you looking for chickens?""No," said the little prince. "I am looking for friends. What does
that mean--'tame'?""It is an act too often neglected," said the fox. It means to
establish ties.""'To establish ties'?""Just that," said the fox. "To me, you are still nothing more than a
little boy who is just like a hundred thousand other little boys. And I
have no need of you. And you, on your part, have no need of me. To you, I
am nothing more than a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But if you
tame me, then we shall need each other. To me, you will be unique in all
the world. To you, I shall be unique in all the world ..."
"Oh, but this is not on the Earth!" said the little prince. The fox seemed perplexed, and very curious."On another planet?""Yes.""Are there hunters on that planet?""No.""Ah, that is interesting! Are there chickens?""No.""Nothing is perfect," sighed the fox.But he came back to his idea."My life is very monotonous," the fox said. "I hunt chickens; men hunt
me. All the chickens are just alike, and all the men are just alike. And,
in consequence, I am a little bored. But if you tame me, it will be as if
the sun came to shine on my life. I shall know the sound of a step that
will be different from all the others. Other steps send me hurrying back
underneath the ground. Yours will call me, like music, out of my burrow.
And then look: you see the grain-fields down yonder? I do not eat bread.
Wheat is of no use to me. The wheat fields have nothing to say to me. And
that is sad. But you have hair that is the color of gold. Think how
wonderful that will be when you have tamed me! The grain, which is also
golden, will bring me back the thought of you. And I shall love to listen
to the wind in the wheat ..."So the little prince tamed the fox. And when the hour of his departure
drew near--"Ah," said the fox, "I shall cry.""It is your own fault," said the little prince. "I never wished you
any sort of harm; but you wanted me to tame you ...""Yes, that is so," said the fox."But now you are going to cry!" said the little prince."Yes, that is so," said the fox."Then it has done you no good at all!""It has done me good," said the fox, "because of the color of the
wheat fields." And then he added:"Go and look again at the roses. You will understand now that yours is
unique in all the world. Then come back to say goodbye to me, and I will
make you a present of a secret."* * *"Goodbye," he said."Goodbye," said the fox. "And now here is my secret, a very simple
secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is
essential is invisible to the eye.""What is essential is invisible to the eye," the little prince
repeated, so that he would be sure to remember."It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so
important.""It is the time I have wasted for my rose--" said the little prince,
so that he would be sure to remember."Men have forgotten this truth," said the fox. "But you must not
forget it. You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed. You
are responsible for your rose ..."
"I am responsible for my rose," the little prince repeated, so that he
would be sure to remember.

(The Uranta Book)
Today's "Thought to Ponder" from The Urantia Book:
The domains of philosophy and art intervene between the nonreligious and the religious activities of the human self. Through art and philosophy the material-minded man is inveigled into the contemplation of the spiritual realities and universe values of eternal meanings. [67:2]ON:Ayurvedic medicine-Deepak Chopra
If you can wiggle your toes with the mere flicker of an intention, why can't you reset your biological clock?
If you could live in the moment you would see the flavor of eternity and when you metabolize the experience of eternity your body doesn't age.
Ayurveda is the science of life and it has a very basic, simple kind of approach, which is that we are part of the universe and the universe is intelligent and the human body is part of the cosmic body, and the human mind is part of the cosmic mind, and the atom and the universe are exactly the same thing but with different form, and the more we are in touch with this deeper reality, from where everything comes, the more we will be able to heal ourselves and at the same time heal our planet.

This Living Hand
This living hand, now warm and capable
Of earnest grasping, would, if it were cold
And in the icy silence of the tomb,
So haunt thy days and chill thy dreaming nights
That thou wouldst wish thine own heart dry of blood
So in my veins red life might stream again,
And thou be conscience-calmed—see here it is—
I hold it towards you.

“It's not enough to have lived. We should be determined to live for something. May I suggest that it be creating joy for others, sharing what we have for the betterment of personkind, bringing hope to the lost and love to the lonely.â€
Leo F. Buscaglia

Leo Buscaglia, PhD - the author of books such as Living, Loving and Learning and Born for Love, renowned lecturer, and University of Southern California professor - touched untold numbers with his insights into how we seek happiness and create loving relationships.
COSMIC RAYS
Earth is continually pelted by high-energy particles coming mostly from beyond the solar system. These cosmic rays, as they are known, typically travel at speeds 90 to 99 percent that of light. Protons constitute the vast majority of cosmic rays, although the nuclei of helium and heavier elements make up roughly 10 percent and a few percent come as electrons and positrons. Astronomers suspect that most of these particles form in supernova explosions, which blast them out into the galaxy. When cosmic rays reach Earth, they smash into the nuclei of atoms in the atmosphere, giving rise to a host of secondary particles. These eventually reach Earth's surface, where they can overwhelm detectors designed to pick up the subtle signatures of neutrinos and other subatomic particles suspected of contributing to dark matter. That's why physicists usually shield such detectors by burying them deep underground.

(Edgar Cayce)
According to Cayce, Atlantis—located from the Gulf of Mexico to Gibraltar—was destroyed in a final catastrophic event circa 10,000 B.C. The focus of A.R.E. efforts has been in the Bimini area, however, other related locations have also been investigated. Research on the so-called Bimini Road has been hampered as researchers are split on the origin of the structure: some believe it is a manmade road or foundation while others assert it is natural beach rock, which fractured in place. However, a seldom-discussed fact is that a portion of the Bimini Road was removed after a hurricane in 1926.Before the end of the last Ice Age (12,000-years ago) the ocean levels were at least 300 feet below their current levels. A vast “island†was in the area in those remote times rather than chains of islands. Edgar Cayce referred to Bimini as one of the mountaintops of ancient Atlantis. While few would consider the island a mountain, 12,000-years ago it was one of the highest points on the vast land formation in the region. Bimini and Andros Island, lying about 100 miles to the east of Bimini, were a part of the same island in 10,000 B.C.—called "Poseidia" by Cayce. Cayce related that a Hall of Records containing the records of Atlantis was constructed somewhere in the region. The Hall of Records was in a temple which sunk in 10,000 B.C.
(Baba Hari Dass)
is a silent monk who has not spoken since 1952 and communicates by writing on a small chalkboard. This verbal silence is a process which gradually quiets the mind and eliminates unwanted thoughts. While this concept may be initially difficult for most of us to understand, the example of Baba Hari Dass is ample expression of the potential for peace that lies within each of us as the result of spiritual discipline and devotion to helping others.
Babaji is first and foremost a master yogi, having practiced the disciplines of yoga from childhood. In addition he is an accomplished author, builder, philosopher, sculptor, and proponent of Ayurveda (the ancient Indian system of health and healing). He is also conversant in several languages. Babaji gives his time unstintingly in service to others and has been the inspiration for a variety of service projects. The California based Hanuman Fellowship was formed in 1974. Two other fellowships, Dharmasara Satsang Society/Salt Spring Centre near Vancouver, and Ashtanga Yoga Fellowship in Toronto, also take their inspiration from Babaji. They too are involved with yoga teaching, retreats, service and publishing.Baba Hari Dass presides at weekly sessions in the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, yoga practices and other related subjects at various yoga retreats. He also writes on many yoga topics and spiritual stories, creates theatrical props and masks for the Ramayana, and always has a special welcome for children. He is present every Sunday at gatherings called Satsang, open to all without charge at the Pacific Cultural Center in Santa Cruz. Satsang means keeping the company of truth and provides an opportunity for spiritual singing, meditation and questions for Babaji. In his presence it is evident that he has found a way to be at peace despite the pain and confusion of the world. His writings, his actions and more importantly his example, communicate the realization that this peace is available to each of us, if only we make the effort.

(The Teachings Of Buddha)Every living being has the same basic wish - to be happy and to avoid suffering. Even newborn babies, animals, and insects have this wish. It has been our main wish since beginningless time and it is with us all the time, even during our sleep. We spend our whole life working hard to fulfil this wish.Since this world evolved, human beings have spent much time and energy improving external conditions in their search for happiness and a solution to their many problems. What has been the result? Instead of their wishes being fulfilled, human suffering has continued to increase while the experience of happiness and peace is decreasing. This clearly shows that we need to find a true method for gaining pure happiness and freedom from misery. When things go wrong in our life and we encounter difficult situations we tend to regard the situation itself as the problem, but in reality whatever problems we experience come from the side of the mind. If we were to respond to difficult situations with a positive or peaceful mind they would not be problems for us; indeed we may even come to regard them as challenges or opportunities for growth and development. Problems arise only if we respond to difficulties with a negative state of mind. Therefore, if we want to be free from problems we must learn to control our mind.
(The KYBALION,Hermetic Philosophy By Three Initates)
The Authors
Little is known why the authors wished to remain anonymous, calling themselves the Three Initiates yet dedicated the book to Hermes Trismegistus. It is widely assumed that two of the authors were Paul Foster Case - who later founded the Builders of the Adytum - and William Walker Atkinson. Writing analysis and comparison with other works by these authors makes it appear exceedingly likely Atkinson wrote the first two chapters, and Case everything else. The Seven Principles
The seven principles, or axioms as defined in the book are as follows:Principle of Mentalism
The Principle of Mentalism embodies the truth that "All is Mind." This principle explains that the "ALL" as a substantial reality underlying all the outward manifestations and appearances which we know under the terms of "the material universe"; the "phenomena of life"; "matter"; "energy"; and in short, all that is apparent to our material senses. It also defines it as Spirit which is also unknowable and undefinable, but may be considered of as an universal, infinite, living mindKybalion page 26.Principle of Correspondance
The Principle of Correspondance embodies the truth that there is always a correspondence between the laws of phenomena of the various planes of being and lifeKybalion page 28. As above, so below; as below, so above. This principle states that there is a harmony, agreement and correspondence between the aforementioned "planes". The planes are as follows:The Great Physical Plane
The Great Mental Plane
The Great Spiritual Plane
Principle of Vibration
The Principle of Vibration embodies the truth that motion is manifest in everything in the Universe, that nothing rests, and everything moves, vibrates, and circles (page 137). This principle explains that the differences between different manifestations of Matter, Energy, Mind, and even Spirit, are the result of only different "vibrations"Kybalion page 30. The higher you are on the scale, the higher your rate of vibration will be. Here, The All is purported to be at an infinite level of vibration, almost to the point of being at rest. There are said to be millions upon millions of varying degrees between The All, and the objects of the lowest vibration Kybalion page 31.
Mental Transmutation is thought to be the practical application of this principle. To change your mental state-change your vibration. One may do this by an effort of Will, in the direction of deliberately fixing the "attention" upon a more desirable stateKybalion page 214.Principle of Polarity
The Principle of Polarity embodies the truth that everything is dual, everything has two poles, and everything has its pair of oppositesKybalion page 32. Some of the many ways to explain this principle are as follows:
All manifested things have two sides, two aspects, or two polesKybalion page 149. Everything is and isn't at the same time; all truths are but half truths and every truth is half false; there are two sides to everything; opposites are identical in nature, yet different in degree; extremes meet; all paradoxes may be reconciledKybalion pages 149-150.Principle of Rhythm
The Principle of Rhythm embodies the truth that in everything there is manifested a measured motion, a to and fro; a flow and inflow; a swing backward and forward, in short, a pendulum-like movementKybalion page 36. This principle explains that there is rhythm between every pair of opposites, or poles, and is closely related to the Principle of PolarityKybalion page 159. It can be seen that this Principle is how you get from one pole to the other, and not nessecarily poles of extremity (extreme opposites).Principle of Cause and Effect
The Principle of Cause and Effect explains that there is a cause for every effect, and an effect for every causeKybalion page 38. It also states that there is no such thing as chance, that chance is merely a term indicating cause existing but not recognized or perceivedKybalion page 171. The principle is clarified in the chapter Causation.Principle of Gender
The Principle of Gender embodies the truth that there is gender manifested in everythingKybaliob pages 39-40. It is stated the view of the authors does not relate to "sex", but to "beget; to procreate, to generate, to create, or to produce" in this respectKybalion page 183. Here, gender is manifested as the Masculine and Feminine Principles, and manifests itself on all planes.Derivative Works
One derivative work has emerged from an esoteric organization by the name of Summum which, considering The Kybalion to be antiquated and incomplete, rewrote the text and incorporated a "grand" principle that Summum claims is the foundation underlying the existence of The All and the source from which the seven principles emanate.
Before sunrise, when the channels of energy are most clear, if this mantra is sung in sweet harmony, "EK ONG KAR, SAT NAAM, SIRI WHA (HE) GURU" you will be one with the Lord. This will open your solar plexus, charging the solar center, connecting it with cosmic energy. You will be liberated from the cycles of karma that bind you to the earth. No tongue can tell how bright the light of cosmic energy is, but when you recite this mantra daily, you will have this light within you.â€YogiBhajanThe Heart Treasure of the Enlightened Ones: The Practice of View, Meditation, and Action: A Discourse Virtuous in the Beginning, Middle, and End
