The band was created under the name Uncanny in September of 2004 from Makis Lazaridis - lead guitar ( former member of Splitdawn and a member of Dihasmenes Alithies), Sakis Vlahos - drums (member of Dihasmenes Alithies), Simos Lazaridis - Rhythm Guitar, Spyros Emanouilidis - Vocals and Marios Giannopoulos - Vocals. The formation of the band remained the same until June of 2005 where Spyros and Simos left the band in order to continue their studies.

There was a period of re-establishment and in the ends of November of the same year the band changes its name to Sklerotikz and Sotiris Vafiadis (vocals), Konstantinos Bikos (rhythm guitar) and Nick Ritsis (bass guitar) joined in. In February of 2006 Nick had to depart due to military obligations where George Sbokos filled in his place as a bass player concluding to the final and permanent lineup of the band until today.

Since November 2005 until today the band has given a satisfying number of live performances in Thessaloniki and other Greek cities. In addition Sklerotikz have performed in some known music festivals along with bands like Psycho Choke, Bull Doza, Human Rejection, Koncave, Providence, Seventy Seven, Darkstar, One Block Society, Drunkard, Rotting Flesh, Ice in Eyes, Leak, Freefall, Dihasmenes Alithies, No Way Out, Nidus, Second Nature, Twin Peags, Mahakala, Tardive Dyskinesia, God.Fear.None, Suicidal Angels, 1000 Mods, J.Allen, Liquidust, Zero Hero, Blind Trendil, Hangover, It Won't Die, No Sin, Try@ngle, Chronic Herbal Influence, Studiowaste, Dirt Spawn Disease.
