Hi, I’m Kosta Vreto! Here’s a little info about me...
As a youngster, for years I used to play with all kinds of groups: thrash, heavy, blues, Greek rock, you name it. In 1998 I auditioned for the group VAVEL and earned the position. That was a huge experience for me and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for all that they taught and gave to me so generously.
In 2001, Pavlos Xatzisimeonidis, keyboard player of Vavel, created a progressive metal group called Concerto Conservatorium On The Rocks, where I had the honour to be a part of. That group consisted of keyboards, bass, drums, guitar, two violins, viola, cello, flute and reed. This very group represented Greece in the 10th Bienale of young artists from Europe and the Mediterranean, which took place in Sarajevo from 17th to 26th July of 2001.
Unfortunately, the band didn’t last long and so I became a member of HARD ON, an 80’s hard rock group. Hard On consisted of members from Concerto, except for the vocalist and we used to play covers from bands like Mr. Big, Extreme, Winger, Bon Jovi, etc.
In 2003 one of my high school dreams came true: I became a member of HORIZON’S END. I really have no words to describe the persons that compile this group. They are probably the best musicians that I’ve played with and definitely some of the greatest people that I ever had the honour to meet in person.
Finally, I am also a member of LONG LIVE, a really fantastic band that has left its sign in the local rock scene.
