hi, i am sotiris gogos a shred rock guitar player and instructor living inThessaloniki, Greece.
I have started playing at around 15 years old, lookingup to players such as Michael Schenker, Yngwie Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert and Greg Howe. Although i took a few lessons when
i started playing, i am mostly a self-taught player.
Throughout the years i have played guitar for a number of local rock bands, and morerecently i have made a few recording collaborations with other artists.
I play mostly in the shred/hard rock style although there is a lot of other music styles i enjoy like blues and fusion.

About the tracks on my player:
"Egypt" is an instrumental recorded around 2003.
"Classical Blue" is an instrumental track of mine.
JAM at Kavala, is pretty self explanatory, its an improvisational JAM session on a backing track that took place in Kavala in 2007 for fun, at my friend's Stavros/Kostas Paraskevas.
"Between 2 Words" and "Message" are song samples taken from the album "First Touch" by my friend John Jeff Touch, released soon by Lion Music. I play guitars on this album.
The videos you see on my page, are: 'In Control' by Vinnie Moore, a short lesson showing a shred lick, two tracks of mine named 'Egypt' and 'Classical Blue', and the last video is an unreleased track named "flying high"written back in 1991!
I got 2 CORT guitars recently and i can say that even for shred playing, these guitars are pretty descent for what little money they actually worth. My only complaint so far is that they don't have a couple more frets.
