About Me

I'm from western Pennsylvania, and a diehard Pittsburgh Steeler & Pittsburgh Penguins fan! I'm also a Penn State (GO JO-PA!) and Pitt Panther fan. I'm an avid news junkie, real and the Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert variety. I'm into all kinds of music, mostly rock: current, classic, southern rock 'n roll, and alternative; and blues and jazz. I love to read, and I read just about anything. I'm not fond of crowds - I prefer to be with a small group of close friends. I love to travel, and want to see the world. My plan is to move to Vancouver, BC someday - soon, I hope! (They have kinder laws!) I'd love to live by the water, the ocean maybe. That might have something to do with my being born under the sign of Pisces! I love photography, take my camera everywhere I go, and I have just recently begun to work with a digital camera. It's okay, but I miss the 35mm and all their options. Hopefully, I'll figure out how to adapt to it soon. I'm starting with a small Canon - thank you Sean & Stephenie! - and I hope to upgrade to the Canon EOS line soon - unless someone out there has a better suggestion! I'd love to make a living out of this - photojournalist, maybe? but I know that'll take time. Good thing I have plenty of that! In the meantime, I'll just keep practicing, and learning from all you guys that are already out there living the dream! Any advice would be appreciated!
