My name is Lincoln Foley Schofield but you can call me Linc. Here you will be able to learn about my life & keep up with everything I’m involved with. Currently I live in Greenwich Village, and I’m happy to call New York City home. Take the time to check out the music, and if you like it you’re free to take it with you. Thanks for taking the time to stop through, and welcome to my world.
I moved to New York City from Key West, Florida in May of 2006 - where I had spent one of the best years of my life drinkin’, thinkin’ & writin’ songs. I wrote music all day and worked nights in Sloppy Joe’s Bar. I met great people from all over the world, found Hemingway, and fell in love with the life of adventure. I recorded my first album down there, an acoustic compilation of songs entitled "Trespassing with Woody".
The year I chose to live in Key West also happened to be the worst hurricane season in history, bringing Dennis, Rita, Katrina & Wilma...
Just as there was a time for packing up and moving to Key West; there came a time to pack up again and start a music career in New York. Leaving turned out to be a harder decision than I planned because I grew to love the island, it’s culture, it’s history, and many of it’s people very much - and I am proud to have been a part of the community.
Now I am doing what I hoped I would be doing at this point in my life when I was 17. I play guitar for a living. Together with my old friend and drummer Matt Torres, I run the house band at Wicked Willy’s, an awesome bar on Bleecker Street.
I also play lead guitar for Def Jam recording artist Bazaar Royale, and it is a privelege to be part of his Ghetto Metal movement.
By day I work for S.O.B.’s, a legendary world music venue that has exposed me to amazing music and cultures from all over the globe.
I have also started Global Jams, a new concert series at S.O.B.’s that features some of the best rock & jam bands from around the world. In 2007 we were fortunate to bring in Phil Lesh and Warren Haynes, two of my heroes.
I also work for MTV in the music marketing department. Slowly but surely I am convincing them to start playing music videos again.

Overall I keep myself busy, but I keep myself balanced. In my free time I am celebrating life with friends and family, traveling the world, exploring ideas, and working in the studio on my first all out new school ol’ time rock ’n roll album. I like meeting new people, especially those interested in working hard to develop the future of the music business, America, and the world.
My music is free, and it is also available on iTunes for those keeping an eye on their karma.
