Band Members: Katya and artists her friends.Katya Sanna is a vocalist, endowed with a range of four octave. She composes very personal melodies and harmonies which a singing style characterized by an ancient flavour with arrangements which sum up electronic, ethnic, romantic, rariefied atmospheres. The lyrics of Katya’s songs are often inspired by literary themes, for instance her long reserch on myths and legend from all the world. Her way of interpreting the combination of words with music is absolutely unique; she creates sonorities hitherto unknown by distorting the common rules of metre and stresses. Apart from her works as a vocalists, she likes very much to collaborate with other artists who belong to different musical culture in order to get in touch with a lot of genres : Soundtracks, Jazz, Ancient Music, Heavy Metal, Multimedial music and poetry project. To sing and to write songs is not enough for her, Katya got her Diploma in the Art-School of Rome specializing in “Designer”. She also: painter and decorator, author of tales and poems, dancer (she studied: contemporary dance, creative dance, oriental dance, traditional Israeli dances), stage designer, costume designer, graphics. She organized art exibitions. She attended theatrical laboratories where she studied : mime, acting, diction, phonetic. She is very fond of Cinema (she adores Gerard Philippe, Alberto Sordi, Pupi Avati).- Paintings Katya's painting has been promoted by historic art gallery FORUM INTERART of Rome, and it have received many awards between them: TARGA COLOSSEUM and ART GOLDEN CARD. Her paintings has been showed at PALAZZO DELLE ESPOSIZIONI of Rome, FORTE SAN GALLO in Nettuno, ATELIER GUSTAVE in Montparnasse Paris- Literature Her fantasy trilogy Le Chant de L’Ange has been showed at radio show “Il baco” del millennio of national Italian radio Radio Rai.- Some live concert Solar Orchestra at Centrale del Tennis Roma as special guest of Van Der Graaf Generator Villaggio Globale as special guest of Ozric Tentacles.
