Delighted!

About Me

Fun-loving, crazy bitch (what my friends love me for) - I'm half-French, half-Irish, so beware the wrath of the harpy!

My Interests

Movies (big fan) ; Food and drink (ditto) ; Music and gigs (dritto) ; and of course, every red-blooded female's favourite past-time...

I'd like to meet:

Like-minded people (aren't spectator sports over-rated?)

Music:

Hard rock (Marilyn Manson), rock (Muse), hip hop (missy E), pop and melodic (Damien Rice), electronic (Goldfrapp), musicals (La Cage aux Folles), etc etc - no country music, industrial or metal (make my ears bleed)

Movies:

Too many to mention (no rom coms, or overly muscle-bound action movies) - anything from arthouse to gross-out!

Television:

Family guy, Will and Grace, the usual comedies, CH4 documentaries - and I miss Oz... NO soap operas!

Books:

Anything by Christopher Brookmyre, or David Sedaris. Liked 'Everything is Illuminated', but wouldn't recommend 'Freakanomics'... Read 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' recently - no need for drugs now, i can cross them off my to-do list. Also just finished the terrifying 'We need to Talk about Kevin' - simply beautiful.

Heroes:

My mum (don't laugh, meet my dad!!) ; Chris - for his saintly patience, amongst other things... .. width="425" height="350" ..

My Blog

Aaaah l'Italia!!

Well, Chris and I just got to Rome yesterday, only to join 50,000+ football fans for a MASSIVE outdoor session of 'watch Italy whoop the French'!! Great craic, the Romans went mental for hours last ni...

Small rant...

Hmmm... My man's band (www.evesalibi.com) were playing at the Irish finals of Emergenza (www.emergenza.net) last Saturday night. The deal with the finals is that out of the 12 bands on, you had t...

Obsessions...

Here I am again, locked in a new CD listening frenzy - got the Queens of the Stone Age 2002 album 'Songs for the Deaf' bout a week ago, and I've been listening to it almost exclusively since then... A...
