I have always loved the blues and much of the music that came from it- it's such a gritty, soulful genre that encompasses so much emotion, i love jazz (esp Brad Melhdau), house, classic rock (Led Zep, Doors, Aerosmith, Jimi Hendrix, all that good shit), underground hip hop, Beatles, Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Coldplay, Pearl Jam, 311, DMB, U2, Eagles of Death Metal, Mike Walker, Beck, Pink Floyd, Bjork, Wilco, Kent, Weezer, Air, The Shins, The Police, The Killers, Elliot Smith, Jeff Buckley :(, Kraftwerk, Pedro the Lion, Ben Watt, Miguel Migs, Lee Burridge, Sander Kleinenberg, Tiefschwartz Underworld, Lawnchair Generals, Jay Z, J5, Mark Farina, The Roots, Black Star, Notorious BIG, 2pac, Stevie f'n Wonder, Prince... just to name a few.
I've always been very open to and influenced by all types of different music. I have a deep appreciation for music that was instilled at a very young age- my dad told me that at age 3 I would crank up the stereo get on the bed and jump up and down feverishly- i've always been so moved by it. I've been playing guitar for over 10 years and have been a club dj for the last 3 years.
