I am here for Friends

About Me

Live to WOW! someone everyday. Whether its making a difference at work or randomly helping a neighbor. If you participate in a community clean up or just plain donate for the good of others. Everyone has something to offer in life. Your strength can help someone older, your courtesy can brighten up someone's day. Even the most unusual characters have something in common. My aim is to make a gift that says to another human being, " I think I know who you are, I respect who you are and I think I know what interests you." The communication and the intention are what matters. Whether the person remembers me in ten days, ten months or ten years, they'll register the fact that there has been something shared between us. It is a powerful thing to change emotion. I strive to change it for the better in others.
Life is funny because so many people come and go in our lives, but you can count your really good friends on one or two hands. I find my pleasure and happiness knowing that my friends are happy and comfortable, and I contribute to their happiness.
I really try to make a difference everyday in life, whether its for me or a friend, family or customer. Confidence is the result of repeated success. It takes practice to be the best or create a positive habit. Being courteous and polite has a chance everytime you encounter somebody new in life and in passing. I pride myself in knowing that when I've left an event, party or meeting... that I've made a long lasting, memorable impression on someone at sometime.

My Interests

Doing my best. Leading by example. Making others happy. Seeing my friends and others around me achieve their goals. Traveling, Wining and Dining. New Experiences and creating history.

I'd like to meet:

Good people find good people. I'd like to meet anyone who can better my life, or the lives of people I know. I'd like to meet people that have come from the bottom up and people who are on the bottom coming up. I'd like to meet the person that said nobody's perfect and tell him he never tried to be.I'd like to meet everyone on the beach with a margarita, some sun block and the wind sliding over our backs.

Music:

Everything Electronic... Eclectic. My 90's collection and pretty much anything that bobs my head, pumps my fist or shakes my ass.

Movies:

I don't really watch movies... I really like independent films and films that show characters of great leadership, integrity, etc... I generally have to be drug along though to watch a movie. They are mostly time killers for me.

Books:

I read A LOT on wines... winemaking techniques, vintification methods and general history of the regions themselves. I also read books that I can apply to everyday life. I'm not much of a Fiction person. I figure if I'm going to spend time reading, I should benefit from it and possibly teach others immediately rather than a fiction novel that only I could appreciate in my own way.

Heroes:

My father for showing me from even the earliest points of my manhood that holding your ground and your dedication to something is what matters most. Not to be swayed from your goals and no matter what the outcome, that you can be satisfied because you did it and you were accountable for it. My best friend Chris whom I've known for a little over 12years that always seems to be there for me even though he's hundreds of miles away. My best friend Cloud whom I've known for about 14 years for showing me things that I probably wouldn't have seen or done without him, being the instigator and the driving force for so many good things in my life.
My closest friends and family all make up what is great in my life. With their support and influence, I can honestly say I've lived. Its so easy to let things fall apart, its a challenge to maintain. These three people have given me my structure, my sense of comradery and helped instill their values in me so that I can better my life.

"Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever. That surrender, even the smallest act of giving up, stays with me. So when I feel like quitting, I ask myself, which would I rather live with?" - Lance Armstrong
