This MySpace page is for the poetic and musical side of me. Currently that is being expressed in my first (perhaps my last?) CD project entitled "The Eargasm".
Some of you may already know me in other writing capacities. I am an erotic fiction writer who has written her own collection of short stories.
I have been published in erotica publications like Clean Sheets and Desdmona , and I am one of the featured authors in Zane's erotica anthology Caramel Flava .
I am also a freelance writer/journalist in the arts and entertainment scene in the Maryland/DC area (you can check out some of my City Paper writing here and here ). The Eargasm is a spoken word CD of what I like to call "love and lust poetry". It includes original music of all kinds (everything from house to jazz to neosoul and more), and special guest appearances by some of this area's most talented people. All the poetry and most of the vocals are by me (with a few special guests) and the music is by Maurice Carroll (except where indicated). I have wanted to do this for a long time, and now, with a great deal of help, support and love from old friends and new friends, it is finally happening.
The Eargasm is definitely intended for mature audiences due to its content and language. And while it will definitely appeal to the freaks out there (smile), anyone who has ever been in love, or in lust, or in some peculiar place in between the two will be able to relate to it. It is an erotic and sensual experience that starts at the ears.
